The Devon24 and Devon24R are Pneumatic Compression portable DVT prevention devices. The Devon24 helps to enhance proper circulation of blood in the body by mimicking the body’s natural muscle contractions, thus increasing venous blood flow to the patient’s extremities. It is a completely portable intermittent pneumatic compression device that has a battery lasting up to 24 hours. The compression therapy mimics the body’s natural muscle contractions to increase venous blood flow to the body’s lower extremities. The Devon24R is the only portable DVT prevention device that can be removed from the sleeves. The pump is removable with single-patient use replacement sleeves.
